Welcome to the OASIS Office, a dedicated space on Winona State University’s campus, operated by the Advocacy Center of Winona. The Oasis Office is your on-campus resource for confidential support, advocacy, and connection.
Our Mission
At the OASIS Office, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students, faculty, and staff can feel safe and supported. Our mission is to empower the campus community by offering compassionate, confidential assistance to those affected by sexual violence, relationship abuse, and other forms of interpersonal violence.
Services We Offer
- Confidential Advocacy: Meet with trained advocates who can listen, offer support, and guide you through your options.
- Crisis Intervention: Immediate help and emotional support during times of crisis.
- Safety Planning: Work with us to develop a personalized safety plan tailored to your specific needs.
- Resource Connection: Get connected to campus and community resources, including counseling, legal support, and healthcare.
- Education and Outreach: Participate in workshops, presentations, and events designed to raise awareness and promote a culture of consent and respect on campus.
How to Find Us
The OASIS Office is conveniently located in Gildemeister 110 on the Winona State University campus. We’re open Monday-Thursday 9 am – 4 pm for drop-in client, or by appointment on Fridays.
