Who gets to define masculinity? By looking at characters like Ted Lasso, Ron Swanson, and others in their television sphere, this workshop uses the portrayals of masculinity, gender, race, class, and sexuality in pop culture and comedy to show us that uplifting healthy masculinity and dismantling harmful masculine norms is not only possible, but necessary to create thriving communities. Participate in authentic conversations to identify strategies for individual and communal level change.
