About the Book:
Warrior Princesses Strike Back is a powerful mix of memoir and radical strategies for healing and recovery. Lakota twin sisters Sarah and Emma recount their experiences growing up on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and their journey through hardship, bias, and activism. They weave personal stories with broader lessons on Indigenous activism, self-help, and healing from intergenerational trauma.
The book offers a roadmap for contemporary truth and healing, emphasizing strategies of reciprocity, collectivism, and decolonial therapy. Through their deeply personal experiences, the Eagle Heart sisters highlight the importance of acknowledging marginalized histories and centering the voices of women of color in the conversation around healing and justice.
